Tomorrowland Releases 2023 Theme Novel ‘The Rise of Ascendo’

Festival mammoth Tomorrowland is warming things up for its 2023 edition by releasing a limited-edition book called The Rise of Ascendo.

Throughout its 300 pages, the novel dives deep into the backstory of next year’s festival theme in the form of a fantasy story. As a key to unlocking Tomorrowland’s festival experience, The Rise of Ascendo will drop clues about the whos, hows, and wheres of Tomorrowland’s fictional universe.

Unlike previous years when fans discovered the festival theme through social media updates and trailers, electronic-heads can uncover the origin story behind the 2023’s fantasy theme, Ascendo. 

Regardless of attendance, readers from all around the world will be able to purchase the magical tale of The Rise of Ascendo and delve into Tomorrowland’s universe. 

Featuring festival artwork and sprayed edges, each paperback copy is numbered and available for pre-order. Shipping for the limited-edition novel is estimated to begin in June 2023. 

While this is the first when the Belgium music festival goes large-scale into the editorial game, 2019 attendees will recall receiving a novel in their treasure cases as a free gift.
