Three innovative concepts aimed at protecting nightlife’s sanctity will become a reality in 2023, as Jagermeister and Tresor’s #SAVETHENIGHT fund winners have been announced.
Back in August, the alcohol brand partnered up with iconic Berlin club for the #SAVETHENIGHT initiative, which pledged €50,000 for the best ideas aimed at improving nightlife worldwide.
Out of 226 entries, the first two winning projects are Club Sol, solar-powered sound systems, and an inclusive space run by Berlin community Queer Trans Liberation.
The two brands also decided to financially support a third idea. Nairobi-based graphic designer Rabudi West wants to rejuvenate Kenya’s nightlife scene in rural areas through advanced training for committed participants.
Nightlife experts Sarah Farina, Tresor founder Dimitri Hegemann, Asia James, Darwin, Berlin Clubcommission board member Lewamm Ghebremariam and deadHype founder Bernard Koomson were in charge of selecting the winners.
