Printworks London to Stay Open For Another Season

Printworks London was supposed to close its doors at the end of 2022, shortly after the New Year period. A social media post signed by the electronic mecca’s management shook its head in disapproval at this statement, as an SS23 “final closing season” has been announced. 

Back in August, the London venue announced its AW22 season lineups. A month before that, news about Printworks getting shuttered to be turned into offices broke, making electro-heads believe that the hub’s curtain would fall by the end of the year. 

But the lusted-after clubbing destination will be here for another season. The social media statement billed London Printworks’ SS23 program as “the biggest to date” and the “culmination of six incredible years.” 

Although there is no word about the lineups and dates yet, the venue’s team said, “discussion regarding the design, planning and delivery of a future Printworks continue.” 

In September, British Land – the developer who submitted the offices’ renovation plan – said it is working with Broadwick Live to keep the venue alive within the new building. 

This came after a petition calling for the regeneration plan to get scrapped reached 11,000 signatures.
