Lusted-after clubbing destination Zouk Club is set to make a comeback to Kuala Lumpur‘s nightlife map – but this time, under a new brand, name, and aesthetic. Now called Spark Club KL, the 11-room music temple will open its doors Friday, November 25th.
When COVID-19 bombarded the nightlife industry with constant lockdowns and social-distancing restrictions, Zouk Group pulled the plug on its eponymous club.
As the reincarnation of one of Malaysia’s most-beloved party spots, Spark Club carries on its predecessor’s commitment for foot-tapping beats.
On its debut night, Spark Club KL will bring in Malaysian electronic DJ Blink. Titled Decadance: 10 Years of Dance Music, the event will kick off at 10 PM and is dedicated to those aged 21 and above.
In the past, Zouk Club hosted some of the most roaring names from the electronic realm, like Timmy Trumpet and Marshmello. During its heyday, the clubbing institution was the ‘it’ music temple for heart-racing beats, eye-catching decor, and ineffable clubbing sessions.
