New York’s Electric Zoo festival updates for the 2022 edition are finally out.
Electric Zoo 2022 edition dates are 2-4 September, and it will take place at Randall’s Island Park, an urban area located in New York’s heart.
The lineup for Electric Zoo will include +100 artists. Amongst the festival headliners to look for, we can find Carl Cox, Martin Garrix, Afrojack, and DJ Snake.
This edition will mark Carl Cox’s return to the electronic music festival after 11 years.
Electric Zoo festival will feature a futuristic theme called 3.0, which pays homage to the Web 3.0 revolution highlighted by NFTs, cryptocurrency, and digital wallets.
The EDM festival will be cashless. Beverage, food and merchandise purchases will be made through a topped-up wristband.
More than 100,000 festival-goers are expected to attend the festival over the three days.
All stages will showcase a brand new design inspired by innovative tech.
Electric Zoo’s 2022 edition will retire The Grove and Hilltop Arena stages.
Morphosis, a kaleidoscopic playground where house music reigns supreme, and AI-powered platform The Landing are Electric Zoo’s freshly added stages.
This year, Electric Zoo has made a major upgrade which translates into new VIP areas, refreshed site map configuration, and more accessible water stations.
Electric Zoo announced it would integrate 12 afterparties into its schedule, featuring roaring electronic names such as Loco Dice and Tchami.
