London-based venue The Beams has officially unveiled the much-awaited opening shows for its AW22 debut.

From LWE and Broadwick Live (the teams behind the iconic Printworks and the now-closed The Drumsheds), The Beams is a new hub doomed to jolt East London’s music scene. The venue will take over an industrial space in London’s Dockyards, next to the City Airport.

A quick look at The Beams’ eclectic lineup will display one thing – the venue’s eternal love for the electronic spectrum and everything it encapsulates. From 10-hour B2B sets to top-tier names from the techno realm, The Beams’ AW22 season seems to have it all.

This music ethos fits the venue’s visual aesthetics like a glove. Spanning across 55,000 sq ft of industrial potential, The Beams London seems to have a soft spot for minimal lighting, industrial elements, and state-of-the-art production.

The Beams’ AW22 season will kick off on 1st October with a weekly event program of five shows for the rest of the month.

Highlights:

  • Electronic legend Michael Bibi will christen The Beams’ audio decks with his ELOVATE concept on 1st October.
  • October 8th will witness a marathon B2B set from English DJ Patrick Topping and Glasgow-born talent Denis Sulta
  • The following weekend (15th October) will see Chicago-native Honey Dijon presenting Radiance, along with rising star Dan Shake, Ibiza stalwart Natasha Diggs and many more.
  • On 22nd October, The Beams London will curate an in-house lineup with Stephan Bodzin and Kölsch among the guests.
  • Towards the end of the month (29th October), The Beams London will celebrate Manchester-based venue The Haçienda. This translates into an eclectic lineup featuring names like 808 State, Cybotron and The Orb.
