As the holly jolly season approaches and streaming music apps roll out time capsules for our listening habits, Apple Music launches a redesigned 2022 Replay experience.

Giving off Spotify-esque vibes, the feature gives users a slew of personalized data to reminiscence on their most listened songs, top artists and music trends.

By scrolling through Apple Music Replay stats, music fans discover how many albums they played, the number of times they pressed the replay button on their go-to tune, and how many minutes they spent on the app.

The feature was initially launched three years ago in the form of a custom playlist encompassing the user’s top songs. While Apple Music Replay didn’t create a buzz back then, the year-end roundup came back roaring in 2022 with flashy aesthetics and personalized reels.

Marking the first major update the feature experienced, this year brought in story-like reels that showcase users’ listening activity. With fun graphics and personalized insights, each card is optimized for sharing on your socials or messaging platforms.

Unlike Spotify Wrapped, Apple Music Replay doesn’t stop tracking your listening habits before the year ends. The music giant’s users can continue checking the Replay feature until 31st December to see if their listening patterns evolve – or devolve – before NYE.
