World Club Dome is the biggest club in the world, offering a festival experience.

Organised by BigCityBeats and headed by Bernd Breiter, World Club Dome has been operating since 2013. The three-day festival has been taking place on the first weekend of June every year since then.

The festival is held at Deutsche Bank Park, a football stadium in the south of Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

BigCityBeats claim that there are no genre boundaries found at World Club Dome, with the festival playing literally any genre you can imagine including techno, hip-hop, rap, future bass, trance and many, many more.

The biggest club in the world lives up to its name as it is held at a location of 700,000 square meters and offers party-goers 25 different stages to choose from.

World Club Dome 2022’s edition dates are 3-5 June 2022. Go get your World Club Dome tickets on Soundclub, the social app for live music experiences covering +2,000 festivals worldwide.

The main stage hosts around 50,000 people, with over 180,000 people in total.

For those that find this number slightly daunting, there are also smaller club formats that host just a few hundred guests for a change of pace.

2. Some of the biggest names in the industry perform at World Club Dome

With more to be announced, the 2022 lineup already has festival attendees on the edge of their seats. Robin Schulz, DJ Snake and DJ Coone are just a small part of the exciting combination of artists that have confirmed their appearance for the upcoming World Club Dome.

3. World Club Dome hosts Pool Sessions

Right next to the Deutsche Bank Park where the World Club Dome is held, the WCD Pool Sessions take place in a 200,000 square meter space where Frankfurt am Main is transformed into a Little Ibiza.

International DJs play in this open air space on stages with a pool area available for audiences to beat the heat at this unforgettable party.

4. The creators of World Club Dome hosted the world’s first ever Drive-In Rave

The worldwide lockdown in 2020 did not stop these visionaries from creating a space where electronic music could be enjoyed. Following safety protocols put in place for the COVID-19 pandemic, the World Club Dome Drive-In was actualized.

The Drive-In had artists such as DJ Le Shuuk and Plastik Funk take the stage while audiences remained in their individual cars as they raved.

5. World Club Dome has gone international

With the Las Vegas and Malta Editions of BigCityBeats’ World Club Dome, the festival is no longer confined to just one location in Germany. Each edition hosts famous DJs and artists across all genres that stay true to the original edition.

The next Malta Island edition of the festival will take place in August later this year in Floriana after a two year break that has EDM music lovers impatiently awaiting the lineup.

6. BigCityBeats has integrated a lifestyle event into World Club Dome

Called Club Kitchen, this combination of club music, haute cuisine and lifestyle has already been an important part of World Club Dome Las Vegas Edition and its success has determined its return to future events.

Club Kitchen combines famous chefs, bartenders, music and musicians to create an experience where audiences can watch their favorite DJs cook up magic.

7. World Club Dome held an Escalator Edition of their festival

In 2020 many live music festivals had to get creative with the way they brought their music to its people. World Club Dome Escalator Edition was one such example of creativity.

A DJ booth was built on top of the longest escalator (a whopping 30 meters long) in Frankfurt’s MyZeil shopping center, and guests listened to the music as the mall was converted into a 5 storey club for the first time in history.

8. World Club Dome brought their rave to the skies

In 2017, World Club Dome hosted an exclusive, VIP rave for just 100 people on board a plane for their event World Club Jet.

The guests of this rave were treated to music by DJs Robin Schulz, Afrojack, Le Shuuk and Rui, thousands of meters up in the sky. There was of course plenty of food and drinks (mostly champagne) from the flight’s departure from London to it’s first stop in Munich and last stop in Frankfurt.

9. BigCityBeats created World Club Dome Zero Gravity for the second time in 2019

In March 2019, World Club Dome held an event where DJ Le Shuuk performed for an audience on a ZeroG 2.0 flight. The audience, consisting of celebrities, influencers and astronauts became part of this historic event in cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA) as they took off from Frankfurt Airport.

10. World Club Dome put on a performance for their extraterrestrial fans

Becoming the first festival to move their performance to space, in 2019 World Club Dome along with DJ Le Shuuk taught the ESA Astronaut Luca Pamitano how to DJ for the groundbreaking event held at the International Space Station and live streamed to the audience at the WCD Cruise Edition.
