Live music

When the sun goes down, Thelonious Club transforms into a moody listening lounge for jazz lovers. In 2014, Downbeat International named Thelonious one of the top jazz venues in the world.

Since its inception in 2000 by fellow musicians, this low-profile jazz club has made waves in the international music community as the place to be to see unmatched local talent.

Resembling a secretive speakeasy from the 1920s, Thelonious Club exudes a prohibition-era charm. High exposed brick ceilings and adobe walls further enhance the state-of-the-art acoustics of this venue. Sip on a cocktail or have a cold beer while listening to soothing and funky jazz tunes.

Named after the legendary American pianist Thelonious Monk, only the best of the best jazz musicians come to this nightclub to play. Open from Thursday to Saturday; performances begin at 9:30 pm, with two shows on Fridays and Saturdays.

This Argentinian jazz nightclub is located in Palermo Hollywood, north of downtown Buenos Aires. Renowned for its high concentration of nightclubs, restaurants, and bars, Thelonious Club is the perfect place for special occasions and nights out on the town.

It serves as a perfect cozy hangout spot for a romantic evening with a date, friend groups looking for an activity to enjoy together, or tourists traveling to Argentina for a taste of the local jazz scene. Its clientele includes jazz enthusiasts and appreciators alike.

Thelonious Club is the closest thing you’ll get to a New York jazz club in Argentina. No other club has helped define Buenos Aires’ jazz scene more than Thelonious, and that alone makes it a staple for any jazz music devotee.
