Thekla an award-winning music venue and nightclub.
Thekla was initially a German cargo ship in the Old City before it was turned into a club in the 1990s. The club continues to be housed in the refurbished moored boat in Bristol’s Floating Harbour. The historical music venue features two floors, each playing different genres.
This club is especially popular for its eclectic live music, with bands playing genres from rock and pop to reggae. It also regularly showcases DJ sets that liven up the place. As a result, Thekla attracts a diverse demographic regardless of age or musical tastes.
