The Villa is considered one of the pillars of Oslo’s underground nightlife scene.
The nightclub opened its doors in February 2007, located in Mollergata, west Oslo, near the Oslo Cathedral. The Villa’s exterior is very straightforward only an alleyway with a sign that says “The Villa Dancing Oslo” with a couple of graffiti on the wall. The interior is set in a basement with dim neon lights that set a gritty mood, credit going to the design of Roomdivision. It is also decorated with various exciting artwork that will instantly catch your eye.
The music that is most commonly played in The Villa is electronic, played by highly respected DJs, both local and international. The Villa attracts a diverse group of people, ranging from university students to even seniors.
The Villa is considered one of the most renowned clubs in the world, proven by all the accolades it has achieved. It was voted the 54th best club in the world by DJ Mag in 2009 and chosen as one of the top 25 clubs in Europe by The Guardian.
This club earned its badges by providing a perfect place to make crazy memories that its visitors will never forget.
