The Room is an obscure underground nightclub that secretly houses groovy beats.
Established in 1992, The Room nightclub was founded by the jazz musical group Kyoto Jazz Massive. The club is in Shibuya, southwest Tokyo, a major commercial center and fashion hub for young residents.
The Room is a cozy, intimate space split into two areas: a concrete-walled bar and an oak-filled dance room. Vintage records, liquor bottles, and an antique chandelier decorate the club.
The Tokyo nightclub features an eclectic blend of live jazz, soul, and hip-hop tunes. The Room is fitted with a state-of-the-art Pioneer DJ sound system. With its diverse music selection, The Room’s crowd is chic and alt.
