In 2015, the club opened its doors to the public in the Downtown West Neighborhood, Central Minneapolis, in the city’s center. It is inside the basement of the Lumber Exchange Building, the first skyscraper in Minneapolis, dating to 1885. The historic building features limestone walls and marble floors.
The Exchange & Alibi Lounge, spanning two bars and a cozy dance floor, showcases a raw and industrial ceiling combined with modern furniture and comfy couches. It is adorned with neon lights and a Funktion-One EVO sound system.
On the other hand, The Alibi Lounge, a room in the club, is a contemporary cocktail lounge offering handcrafted drinks and delectable seafood bites. It provides guests with a laid-back setting featuring custom-designed furniture and a glitzy interior.
An array of genres, including hip-hop, Top 40, and EDM, fire up the club’s dance floor. The Exchange & Alibi Lounge welcomes national and international DJs like Gianni Blu. It also hosts themed parties to keep its visitors entertained.
