The Cafe is a buzzing LGBT+ nightclub featuring vibrant themed parties.
Established in 1992, The Cafe is in Castro District, central San Francisco. Known as one of the first gay neighborhoods in the United States, the club fits into the area like a glove.
Swiveling disco lights illuminate the modern all-black interior of The Cafe. This San Francisco nightclub is split into two areas, the main room with an elevated stage in the center of the dance floor and a secondary back room for when you need a break from dancing.
The Cafe nightclub is famous for its weekly events and RuPaul’s Drag Race viewing parties. Drag performances, go-go dancers, and comedy shows are common occurrences at the San Francisco club.
A rotation of in-house DJs spins a mix of the latest pop, electronic, and hip-hop hits. This LGBT-friendly San Francisco nightclub welcomes music lovers from all walks of life, regardless of gender or sexual orientation.
Since it opened, the club has served as a refuge for the marginalized community of LGBT+ folk in San Francisco. The Cafe has always been a safe space for guests to be themselves while reveling in its splendor.
