The Bonham Exchange is a San Antonio LGBT+ club home to wild parties, eclectic music, and drag shows.
The club, established in 1981, is in Downtown San Antonio. It is nestled inside a 130 years old historic building, which initially was a German social and athletic club before being used by the United Service Organizations for 30 years.
The Bonham Exchange is a three-story club with an outdoor patio, a spacious dance floor, more than ten bars, and multiple rooms upstairs. When you enter, your senses will be overwhelmed with heart-pounding sound systems and immersive light shows. Due to the building’s ancient history, the nightclub features an antique French Renaissance revival style.
The club hosts several DJs spinning music ranging from house and EDM to commercial, Latin, and hip-hop, offering a different program every night for maximum entertainment. The Bonham Exchange hosts karaoke nights, themed events, and drag shows.
It has welcomed renowned celebrities like Debbie Harry and the queen of drag herself, RuPaul. Due to its all-inclusive atmosphere and eclectic music, the club attracts large laid-back crowds from all walks of life.
For more than 30 years, The Bonham Exchange has been a go-to safe space for San Antonio’s party-goers.
