Slate is one of the city’s legendary entertainment spots for an after-work release.
Established in 2000, Slate was founded by Aristotle Hatzigeorgiou and is located in the Flatiron District of downtown Manhattan. Housed in an elegant, clean-looking beige building, this 16,000-square-foot venue features a sports lounge, restaurant, nightclub, and private event space across two floors connected by a 20-foot slide.
Inside, a dizzying array of activities solidifies Slate as an “adult playground” (if the slide didn’t give enough of an indication). A karaoke room, three bowling lanes, an arcade, a ping-pong table, foosball tables, pool tables, Skee-ball, pinball, and even a pour-your-own drink beer and wine station.
Slate’s multi-purpose space goes on theme with its multi-genre music, incorporating Funktion-One sound systems to blast mainstream pop, electronic, and hip-hop.
The crowds are as energetic as the music, with young professionals coming to play after a long day.
Rent out the perfect spot for birthdays, game nights, corporate gatherings, company holiday parties, or just a night out enjoying excellent VIP service. Not only is the service outstanding but also the food. Slate’s Chef Darryl Harmon prepared a menu filled with upscale bar bites and delicious street fare to satisfy your cravings.
Slate is a vibrant fusion of permanently buzzing vibes, delicious food, and limitless entertainment opportunities–there is nothing you wouldn’t love about this New York nightclub.
