As the epitome of New Orleans nightlife, one can expect nothing but the best from Republic NOLA, appearing in the New York Times, Yahoo News, and Nola.com lists.
Established in 2005, owner Nick Thomas completely revamped the space and programming in 2015. It is located in the Central Business District, south of downtown New Orleans, in a converted brick warehouse.
Inside, two floors of exposed wood beams, dark wood cabinetry, oak barrels, and leather furniture give off a horse stable, old-fashioned aesthetic. Vintage chandeliers hang from the ceiling to give a touch of refinement to the space. Republic’s stage is fitted with a state-of-the-art sound system, lighting, and video screen to project the best performances in town.
Republic’s popularity stems partly from the variety of music played on its dance floors.
Guests should look forward to live shows by local and international talent highlighting the hottest electronic, hip-hop, and rock hits.
Artists who have performed there include heavy-hitters like Diplo, Young Thug, Disclosure, Post Malone, Marshmello, Illenium, Tchami, Grimes, and Zed’s Dead. This heterogeneity attracts visitors from all walks of life, with local and foreign clubbers embracing the parties.
With a strong emphasis on private events, Republic NOLA is the perfect spot to host intimate concerts, corporate events, off-site meetings, weddings, class reunions, or charity fundraisers.
With its A-list celebrity live performances, vibrant atmosphere, and reputation as the place to be in New Orleans, what more can you ask for?
