Ravintola Kaarle is one of the pillars of Helsinki’s nightlife scene.
Kaarle opened its doors in 1976, located in southern Helsinki’s historic Kaartinkaupunki neighborhood. The building is an old Nylands Nation cooperative house designed by Karl Hard.
The club is three storeys tall, complete with a bar and dancefloor that is decorated with several old paintings. With that kind of design, it is the perfect combination of old and new.
Kaarle prides itself in playing a diverse set of music, ranging from electronic rock to even Finnish pop. This club also regularly hosts weekly events such as the “Legendary Kallen Thursday”, “Kalle’s Friday party”, and “Kalle Saturday night.”
Since opening in 1976, Kaarle’s popularity hasn’t wavered even one bit. All thanks to a great atmosphere and great music.
