The family-owned nightclub was founded by the patriarch in 1959 until the legacy was passed on to his sons in the late ‘80s and will be turned over to the grandsons.
From the outside, the Frankfurt club – standing in the city’s center – has the card game motif plastered over its exterior. The street where Pik Dame resides was notorious for its sleazy night-time activities but is now a bustling commercial block.
Pik Dame preserves its cabaret decor with nude artwork, odd statues and figurines, and an all-red velvet interior. The intimate nightclub spans two floors with a stage for live performances.
Offering a blend of current and retro beats played by open-format DJs and complemented by live music, there’s something for everyone at Pik Dame. The club stays true to its roots and hosts burlesque and exotic dancers on Sundays.
