Paris is always a good idea, as Audrey Hepburn said. Brimming with avant-garde areas that you can discover at night, the Parisian nightlife fosters hotspots for anybody’s and everybody’s taste. From the Le Marais’ hip streets to Bastille’s vibrant nightlife, partying in Paris is truly a memorable experience – even if you are not over the jetlag.

Le Marais, located in the 4th arrondissement is one of the best nightlife hotspots. The enticing LGBTQ+ community is part of its exuberant popularity since there is an array of queer-friendly bars and clubs. Creating an electric and vibrant atmosphere, Le Marais’ music scene shelters both pop and electronic sounds.

If you want to stop for a glass of red wine or a French Martini, Labo Bar should be your go-to destination. However, for pro-clubbers who want to immerse themselves in the hotspot’s electronic experience, then Rex Club is the place to go.

2. Montmartre

Montmartre is no stranger to Paris’s lavish nightlife – especially when it comes to hotspots. Located in the 18th arrondissement, the Parisian district features countless cobblestone alleys and vintage stores. Its vibrant nightlife atmosphere acts as a home for concert halls and bumpy underground sounds. The best club in that area is unmistakably the birthplace of modern can-can revue dance – La Machine du Moulin Rouge.

Pigalle is without a doubt on the top of the list when it comes to adult entertainment districts. It is pretty much like Berlin, but with baguettes and a more romantic vibe – we are in France’s capital after all. This Parisian nightlife hotspot is filled with bars, clubs, and sex shops – thus attracting curious tourists from all over the world.

Still don’t trust us that the district enjoys a roaring recognition? Pablo Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh lived there. Some of the best nightclubs in the area are Le Carmen and Dirty Dick – no, this is not a typo, it’s the club’s name.

The Latin Quarter is one of the best nightlife hotspots in Paris. If you are strolling around the 5th arrondissement, you will stumble upon its neighbour, Sorbonne University, aka one of the best universities in the world. It is known for enticing young audiences, both international and local. As its name suggests, the music scene in this area is mainly Latin, with venues featuring pop and electronic music as well.

This hotspot is also great for travellers exploring Paris on a tight budget, since it’s filled with affordable student bars and cafes. On top of the Latin Quarter nightlife venue list sits the famous Le Romeo nightclub, where young adults come to show off their moves on the dance floor.

A chic district located in the 6th arrondissement, St. Germain is one of Paris’ most affluent neighborhoods. Attracting elegant and trendy visitors, it is filled with high-end boutiques and five-star hotels that will indulge your eyesight with its visually-pleasing aesthetics.

St. Germain is popular for redefining nightlife through luxury. The crowds you’ll normally encounter here are mostly older audiences. You definitely won’t run into students in any St. Germain jazz bar or any old neighbourhood pub. The best clubs in this area are Arbane and Castel, two opulent venues for people looking for something high-end.

The heaven of urban street art, Belleville is one of the best nightlife hotspots located in the 20th arrondissement

This area shows the artistic element of Paris nightlife due to its incredibly creative culture. Since famous French singer and national chanteuse Edith Piaf grew up in this area, it is much more connected to the music community. The best nightclubs you will bump into are Le Discobar and Wanderlust.

Seems like this nightlife hotspot was tailored for those who want to enjoy pop and dance music like never before. Nothing is overdone and everything is incredibly affordable.

Bastille is famously known for catering to and welcoming the LGBTQ+ community, with numerous bars and clubs that are queer-friendly. It’s a place of acceptance for all, with no exceptions.

It is also acclaimed for its ritual bar-hopping since the venues are very close to each other. Late-night partying has made a home for itself in Bastille since most clubs and bars stay open until at least 4 AM. Some of the best nightlife venues in this area are Le Balajo and Badaboum.
