As one of the go-to spots in Seoul nightlife, NB2 is a hip-hop club popular with local and international students.
In 1999, NB2 was established by YG Entertainment’s founder Yang Hyun-suk. The buzzing nightlife venue is in Hongdae, west Seoul, a student area known for its hipster vibe, quirky boutiques, and indie music venues.
NB2 boasts tall ceilings and a mezzanine level that overlooks a spacious dance floor. A lit-up bar top, red railings, and props like traffic lights and a bright yellow phone box add a playful touch to the otherwise industrial-looking venue.
The NB in NB2 stands for Noise Basement, which is the truth of the matter. Though the club falls into the multi-genre category, NB2 has hip-hop and R&B beats at its core. Besides the average pop and K-pop hits, you will also get a taste of bumpy electronic tunes.
NB2 pulls in a younger crowd of predominantly students with its proximity to Hongik University. NB2 welcomes everyone excited about its iconic parties.
NB2 has earned a reputation for its thrilling parties, art-like music sets, and vibrant crowds for years.
