Established in 2006 by the KNR Hospitality Group, Mokai Lounge was sold to the Opium Group in 2009, owned by Eric Milon, Francis Milon, and Roman Jones. Located in the South Beach neighborhood east of downtown Miami, the Opium Group owns three other nightclubs in the area: Mansion, SET, and Cameo.
Plush velvet sofas and elegant finishes imbue the space of Mokai Lounge with luxury and opulence. Mokai Lounge features custom-built chandeliers hanging over the bar while colorful lights set the room’s atmosphere.
At Mokai Lounge, you can expect to hear hip-hop music predominantly, although the DJ will occasionally throw some electronic beats in the mix. A-list celebrity Kevin Hart has celebrated his birthday at Mokai. Similarly, the likes of Afrojack, Flo Rida, Robin Thicke, and Selita Ebanks have all been spotted at this iconic Miami nightclub.
