Lola’s Room is known for its ‘80s feel and energetic vibes.
The club’s name was inspired by Lola Baldwin, Multnomah County’s first staff policewoman. Located on Crystal Ballroom’s second floor, Lola’s Room is managed by McMenamins, an Oregon-based entertainment company. The historic structure is on Burnside Street in Downtown Portland.
The club features a floating dance floor accommodating up to 350 people. Its industrial and cozy interior is ornamented with neon lights and flashing disco balls.
Lola’s Room offers a blast from the past with music from the ‘80s, ‘90s, and the 2000s. It hosts cozy concerts and live performances for a wide range of genres, welcoming the likes of Michael Seyer.
On the club’s intimate dance floor, patrons can dance to their favorite tunes by icons like Queen and Mickael Jackson. With its throwback music, the club attracts laid-back, nostalgic Millennials.
Lola’s Room is considered a fan favorite thanks to its themed events, a fine selection of cocktails, and retro beats.
