La Respuesta has been in business since 1999. The club was founded by Jose Morales, an art promoter with several contributions to the independent music scene in Puerto Rico.
The nightclub is a warehouse-like one-story building. La Respuesta is situated in the hip Santurce district in San Juan, located along the north-eastern coast of Puerto Rico.
The nightclub holds a spacious dance floor that has revelers dancing like there’s no tomorrow. La Respuesta is considered an artistic space with graffiti-covered walls and a grungy aesthetic . An incredible lighting system sets the dance floor on fire.
