Kuudes Linja is one of the go-to places in Helsinki for good music and fun time.
Kuudes Linja is located in the apartment complex of Torkkelinmaki, central Helsinki. It is a very intimate club, complete with a bar and stage. The venue is very minimalistic, as it is only decorated with various colored lighting, a disco ball, and a couple of projector screens. The exterior walls are layered with bricks, and decorated with posters of the upcoming musicians that they are going to perform.
This club is regularly booked for various musicians and DJs, both local and international. With that being said, you can feast your ears on a diverse set of genres—from electronic, pop, rock, and hip-hop, to shoegaze.
A diverse set of music comes with a diverse range of demographics. You can find all sorts of people from different backgrounds and ages letting their hair down at the club.
A no-frills place, Kuudes Linja lets the music do the talking, and that formula has been proven effective over the years.
