Dine and dance in Iguana, the perfect combination of Mexican restaurant, bar, and nightclub all in one place.
Conveniently located just a few blocks away from New York City’s Times Square, Iguana is a three-floor establishment that brings an authentic fusion of Tex-Mex to New York. Iguana earns its name from the massive metal reptile crawling down the exterior of the building. Unsurprisingly, New York has seen another similar reptile atop a cafe and club, Lone Star Cafe, that has since shuttered in 1989.
Checkered tables, exposed brick walls, and vintage chandeliers give diners a cozy atmosphere inside.
Following the theme, a gigantic iguana hangs above the bar illuminated by eerie green light. Iguana boasts 29 flavors of margaritas and mojitos, along with a wide variety of classic Mexican dishes and grilled Tex-Mex fusion foods.
Descend to Iguana’s underground nightclub after sipping all the wonderful cocktails. Let loose with music from rotating DJs that play the best of Latin, mainstream pop, house, and R&B. From late nights to even later mornings, both tourists and New Yorkers flock to the dancefloor for some Latin beats.
With a unique atmosphere, fuelled by endless margaritas, mojitos, and Mexican food, Iguana is the place to dance the night away.
