The club was established in 1988 in the suburbs of Claremont, southwestern Perth. Hip-E operates inside a black, brick-walled building, with its interior decorated with disco balls, colorful lighting, murals, and a classic Volkswagen Kombi.

Groovy retro music is Hip-E’s specialty, making it perfect to boogie all night long. It attracts crowds of all ages looking to reminisce the good old days.
