Worried about not finding the right LGBT+ clubs in Atlanta? Fear not, for Heretic is one of the most iconic gay locales in the city’s nightlife.
Welcoming crowds since 1991, Heretic has been an inclusive space for all. The nightclub almost faced evasion in 2019 but was thankfully saved by a community effort to protect and maintain, what has now become a staple in Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ history.
Heretic is on the northeast side of the city neighboring a gay bar in the same building. Dubbed as the “Gay Capital of the South”, Atlanta has a large population of queer folk making the nightclub a buzzing spot in Atlanta nightlife. Heretic is massive: a stage, dancefloor, bars, an arcade area, and a patio; what more can you need?
The club has a line-up of DJs that fire up the dance floor with pop mixes. With entertainment at its core, Heretic has themed nights and drag performances adding to its allure.
