Headquarters in one of the raddest underground music venues in Singapore.
Established in 2016, it is a creation of the Singapore-based boutique music agency The Council. The club is located at the historic Boat Quay, situated upstream from the mouth of the Singapore River on its southern bank. Housed in a no-frills grungy space, with the DJ spaced out from the revelers by a cage, the place is bathed in red lasers.
Veering away from the mainstream, the club is known for championing underground sounds in house, techno, and disco and showcasing local and regional talent. But it also gets lit with international acts such as Gerd Janson, Peggy Gou, DJ Boring, and Rampue. If you’re interested in a space that’s not glitzy and posh and care about good thumping music, Headquarters is the place for you.
Get engulfed in shadows and smoke and the vibrations of pure electro music at Headquarters, which adds a bit of Berlin’s vibes to Singapore’s nightlife.
