Hare & Hounds is one of the oldest venues in Birmingham.
Hare & Hounds is possibly the most vibrant pub-cum-club around. Located in the nightlife hub of southern Birmingham, this unique pub opened in 1820, making it a heritage site. The venue has a classic British pub aesthetic, surrounded by brick walls, wooden furniture, and colorful lighting.
Despite its age, Hare & Hounds appeals to a large, diverse audience of party-goers due to its impressive range of music genres, from reggae to hip-hop and jazz. Along with being classed as a Grade II heritage site, Hare & Hounds hosted the first-ever gig of Birmingham reggae and pop legends UB40.
The venue features weekly jazz, rock, indie, electro, and funk gigs; variety is what sets this particular pub apart from the rest. Every musical ear is welcome.
