Citizen is a nightclub and cocktail lounge imbued with sophistication and versatility.
Co-owners Imran Sheikh and Mark Hearl opened Citizen nightclub in 2015. The club enjoyed a desirable location in the posh Uptown neighborhood, where it first began. It later moved to the artsy Deep Ellum neighborhood, east of downtown Dallas.
Citizen is a laid-back cocktail lounge in the early evenings. As the night sets in, Citizen morphs into a glitzy nightclub, where bumping electronic sounds and fast rhythms reign. This Dallas nightclub promotes pop, electronic, and hip-hop like it lives for it.
This buzzing nightclub is known for its exclusivity, attracting an upscale clientele. But everyone is welcome, with international tourists being a regular sight.
