Established in 2015, Circus club is in Shibuya, southwest Tokyo, a major commercial center that is a fashion hub for young people and a vibrant nightlife area.
Featuring an elaborate playground consisting of a lounge area, the main dance floor with a DJ booth in the basement, and a separate smoking room, Circus club is a perfect mixture of fun and intimacy.
The alternative nightclub plays everything electronic – progressive house, underground techno, and drum and bass. A predominantly younger, subculture-following crowd can be spotted at Circus club, unlike the typical glamorous clientele that flock to many mainstream nightclubs in the city.
