Charlie’s is a high-spirited cowboy-themed LGBT+ nightlife spot in the city.
Established in 1981, the club is in Capitol Hill, central Denver. After its rapid success, Charlie’s opened three other locations in Chicago, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.
The club spans an accommodating stage, a sit-down bar, a fenced patio with relaxed vibes, and two dance floors showcasing different music genres. It has exposed brick walls, and an oak-filled Western interior adorned with quirky lights.
Charlie’s has a dance floor dedicated to country music and another featuring the latest hip-hop beats. It also hosts weekly entertainment, including drag shows and dancing lessons, allowing its visitors to dance to their heart’s content and enjoy outstanding talents.
Although the club is considered a haven for Denver’s queer community, it welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds.
