A household name among worldwide ravers, Berghain is perhaps Berlin’s most mysterious and elusive club.
Founded in 2004, Berghain has created a reputation unlike any other Berlin nightclub. Berghain sits in an old power plant between the districts of Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. The area where Berghain is located is known for its diversity and array of food options.
The four-floored Berghain is known for its selection of techno music, with the famous Panorama Bar situated on its top floor playing the best in house music.
Berghain’s highly selective door policy and tales of hedonistic happenings made the Berlin club as sought-after as it is today. 24-hour parties spanning across weekends take the idea of endless partying to the next level, with party-goers filing outside the club at any point of the day.
Berliners and tourists flock to Berghain for a mere chance at possible entry. As advised by Berghain’s former patrons, dress like a Berliner and don’t show too much excitement to score entrance. As far as we remember, applying for university was much easier than getting into Berlin’s beacon of techno.
This Berlin nightclub is one for the books.
