Start your night off with a bang at the iconic Asian restaurant and concept nightclub Bang Bang.
As the brainchild of founders Mauricio Couturier and Johnny Shockey, Bang Bang kicked off in 2013. It is in the famous Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego, an area known for its vibrant nightlife and international cuisine.
As you step inside Bang Bang, you’re immediately greeted by a tunneled railway entrance inspired by Tokyo’s subway stations. Bang Bang is a multi-level lounge, nightclub, restaurant, and sushi bar.
The venue is famous for its artsy collage of actor Ryan Gosling in the women’s bathroom. It also features red Chinese lanterns, a paper dragon, florals, and lush greenery adorning the main dance floor.
Bang Bang predominantly plays electronic music, from house to techno; you will surely hear hypnotic beats throughout the space. Electronic music lovers worldwide are inevitably drawn to the San Diego club.
