The LGBT+ club has been pleasing crowds since 1999. Lodged in the “art & soul” of Columbus, Short North – north of Downtown – Axis fits in like a jigsaw puzzle.
The spacious nightclub features a floral wall, candle-lit tables, and a stage backdrop made of a simple weave panel. Each drag show has a different decor, so expect to see Axis in a new light every time.
Queens like Willow Pill and Bosco have taken Axis’ stage, delivering unparalleled nights. Besides feasting your eyes on the cacophony of drag artists and burlesque dancers, Axis club’s DJs spin current and classic hits setting the dance floor on fire.
The club caters to Columbus’ LGBT+ crowd, but party-goers of all genders and sexualities find their groove in Axis.
Since its opening, Axis has served as a refuge for the marginalized LGBT+ community in Columbus. It has always been a safe space and a platform for guests to be themselves while reveling in its splendor.
