TAO nightclub is the embodiment of Las Vegas nightlife and can only be described as an awe-inspiring music sanctuary.

Founded by businessmen Marc Packer and Rich Wolf in 2005, TAO has been providing an incomparable clubbing atmosphere to any guest who enters the Las Vegas venue. Located at the center of the iconic Strip, this multi-story hub houses a restaurant, lounge and nightclub, creating a one-stop shop for all your entertainment needs.

TAO Las Vegas stands out as the go-to destination for discerning guests and celebrities alike, offering a diverse range of beats from hip-hop sets to today’s top chart hits.

Music diversity is an essential element of TAO’s ethos, ensuring that their playlists have something for everyone.

Tao Las Vegas is renowned for its exceptional VIP treatment, distinguished clientele, and electrifying live performances. For years, it has been the go-to destination for those seeking a luxurious night out on the town.

Here is everything you need to know about TAO Las Vegas.

The TAO family extends far beyond the Vegas venue

Originally founded in 2000 by Noah Tepperberg, Richard Wolf, and partners, the TAO brand has taken the night industry by storm with its glamorous venues and celeb-packed events.

The hospitality group boasts more than 28 venues spread across three countries – not bad for a chain that almost had to cancel its very first opening night thanks to Bill Clinton’s security blocking off their deliveries (yes, that actually happened).

The A-List hotspot, TAO Vegas, joined the group in 2005

The Vegas venue joined the TAO family in September 2005.

Since then, the party temple has morphed into the epitome of Sin City nightlife – no wonder A-list celebs rank it as one of their clubbing holy grails.

The Kardashians, 50 Cent, Floyd Mayweather, Rita Ora, Adriana Lima – you name them, TAO has probably hosted them.

Of all the TAO venues, its Vegas branch levels up the game when it comes to star-studded crowds.

But everyday folks frequent the clubbing mecca, making it a prime spot for some celebrity spotting (provided you manage to wangle your way onto the guest list).

TAO isn’t just a drinking venue – the food is pretty great too

Founder Richard Wolf revealed in an interview with Forbes that people tend to associate the TAO brand with dancing until dawn – but its restaurant is the crown jewel.

“People focus too much on the nightlife component [of our business], but they forget TAO has three of the top ten grossing restaurants in America. The food is great.”

Delivering top-notch dishes from countries across the Asian continent, TAO Asian Bistro is one of Vegas’s most well-regarded eating establishments. Among their most popular plates, you can find the Miso-glazed Chilean sea bass, which ranks top ten in Fashion Show Las Vegas’s list of must-try dishes in the city.

TAO Las Vegas is like a fun fair – it’s got something for everyone

This Sin City crowd-pleasure is all about being versatile. TAO strikes a good balance between the interior’s feng shui and the club’s rollicking atmosphere.

From giant Buddha statues to bathtubs filled with rose petals half-naked models, this Las Vegas club has it all.

Whether you are into hedonistic clubbing sessions or describe your vibe as laid back, the Asian temple offers enough colors for you paint a good picture for your TAO experience.

The club’s Opium Room is the ultimate nightlife facility, with red suede sofas and and ceiling carvings.

If you’re looking for a less intimate setting, the club’s central moat is a pretty impressive hangout spot.

You can get a personal cocktail maker for the night

If you are a Vegas-goer – even in your past life – you know bottle service reigns supreme in Sin City. Despite having various dance floors scattered across its generous space, TAO’s table area is where the real action happens.

If you opt for their VIP table service, you bag a cocktail maker to create delicious concoctions to keep you topped up.

Only the crème de la crème in mixology takes over TAO Las Vegas’ bars to play with textures, layers, and tastes – so expect nothing but the best bartenders in the country.

TAO has its own beach club open from March to September

If the lush velvets and signature waterfalls haven’t made your jaw drop yet, TAO Las Vegas has its own makeshift beach club open during the fair-weather months.

Between March and September (or thereabouts), the club rolls out its poolside cabanas, beach party DJs, and outdoor bar services, embodying a genuine Ibizan experience in Las Vegas’ heart.

Head to the Birdcage Bar for jaw-dropping views of the Vegas Strip

In true TAO style, the club features a life-size birdcage bar on its upper floor.

But venture beyond it and you’ll find a more impressive sight – the 40ft high club balcony. Guests are free to flock here and get views of the Vegas strip.

Not a bad spot for a date night, huh?

The club features a crowd-pleasing playlist

With a 360 approach to nightlife entertainment, this clubbing destination serves the pleasure-seekers needs. And delivering the most eclectic sounds in the city is no exception to that rule of thumb.

Everything from the latest electronic-soaked beats to hip-hop tunes found shelter in TAO Las Vegas’ DJ booth. Marketing its weekend nights towards a crowd whose playlist mainly consists of chart-worthy bangers, TAO’s soundtrack is a bit less psychtrance and a bit more pop.

TAO Las Vegas features a jaw-dropping capacity of 3,000 clubbers

Set over multiple floors, TAO s is on the larger side of Las Vegas clubbing temples’ scene.

On its busiest nights (Thursdays and Saturdays), the club packs in crowds of 3,000 party-goers.

This bad boy might have a jaw-dropping capacity, but uber-busy dance floors are anything but an uncommon sight.

TAO is an advocate of the ‘Ladies Night’ culture

Despite various states in America ruling that Ladies Nights are unlawful and discriminatory (think California, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin), Las Vegas maintains the practice as perfectly legal.

TAO is very much on board with charging different prices for male and female clubbers. On special nights, women are granted free entry and discounted (or free) drinks until 11 PM, whereas men pay an entrance fee and full drink prices.

On other nights, women pay a discounted entry price. This means that men can pay up to double for their ticket – unless they come in a group that has an equal male to female ratio.

If you fancy a slice of Vegas glamor, bag a spot on the guestlist and live out all of your Paris Hilton meets Lindsay Lohan fantasies.
