16 Tons is a nightclub, pub, restaurant, and brewery all in one.
Launched in 1996, this English-inspired nightlife venue is one of the longest-running nightclubs in the city. 16 Tons opened in the Presnensky district in east Moscow, an affluent area known for its quiet parks and European restaurants.
This buzzing nightlife venue is named after a song by the same name by American artist Merle Travis. 16 Tons nightclub was the first live music venue to showcase guitar bands on stage.
16 Tons features local and international bands performing everything from rock to electronic. You can even find in-house DJs spinning a mix of commercial mash-ups on certain nights. Head upstairs to dance to the finest live music performances in various genres.
