New Guernica is a quirky nightclub dedicated to electronic music.
New Guernica opened in 2009, making eastern Melbourne’s suburbs of Collingwood its home. The club operates inside a multi-level colonial-era building decorated with abstract artwork, taxidermy, neon lights, and disco balls.
The Melbourne club has hosted local and international DJs such as Jamie XX, Derrick Carter, Francis Inferno Orchestra, and Kate Miller, to name a few. It attracts electronic music lovers of all ages and backgrounds.
New Guernica has cemented itself as a staple of Melbourne nightlife by giving DJs and club-goers a space to express themselves freely. As a result, it has manifested an inclusive and overall fun atmosphere.
